Elk Grove Waste Management, LLC was founded in 2001 by Mark Jenkins, a hands-on entrepreneur with deep roots in the construction and waste management industries. Mark began his professional journey in the concrete industry, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by contractors and builders.

During the 1991 recession, Mark weathered the economic storm and continued pushing forward. As fate would have it, payment for a concrete job came in the form of a roll-off truck—a pivotal moment that sparked the idea for what would become Elk Grove Waste Management. That single truck marked the beginning of a new chapter and the founding of EGW.

Over the years, Elk Grove Waste Management has grown into a trusted, franchised waste hauler, proudly serving all of Sacramento County and the cities of Elk Grove, Folsom, Roseville, Sacramento, and West Sacramento. Our reputation for dependable, timely, and professional waste and recycling services has made us the go-to choice for both residential and commercial customers.

Mark’s commitment to innovation didn’t stop there.
